McFarlane Toys and Epic Games Make a Collection of Fortnite Royale Battle Premium Figures and Accessories

Fortnite Royale Battle game developed by Epic Games makes a collection of figures from Fortnite game characters. The project partnered with McFarlane Toys, an accessory company that has been in the business for a long time. In addition to Figures, McFarlane Toys will also make accessories and resin sculptures. This collection is scheduled to be available for purchase from bulk retail stores in the fall of 2018.

The company was created by Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn and director behind the upcoming Spawn movie. “The Fortnite brand has taken global status and continues to grow every day,” McFarlane said. “This game, with its unpleasant sense of skill and fun, now has hundreds of choices of characters to choose from, which is an excellent blueprint for successful toys and action figures.”

“We’ve been a fan of Todd and McFarlane Toys for years, and it’s a dream come true to have a chance to collaborate with them,” said Donal Mustard, creative director of Epic Games worldwide. “I have seen some prototypes and they are so cute … I think the players will just be mesmerized.”

The collection combines “the current and ‘classic’ look of the Fortnite franchise” and the numbers will be seven inches tall – which puts them in the range of 1/8 to 1/6 sculpture scales.

Fortnite contains two modes. The first, Save the World, is a cooperative survival shooter in which up to four players build large structures to fight hordes of zombie-like creatures. The more popular Battle Royale is a free game mode in which 100 players fight in the arena shrinks until only one person is left standing. Fortnite is available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Switch.

Details have not been revealed as of yet, but the statement says McFarlane Fortnite (McFortnite?) Lineup will feature “seven-inch premium, articulated figures” and “high-end accessories.” This collection is expected to be launched in the fall.
